The school is an alternative education program in Barre, MA serving approximately 30 high school students. The school provides a hands‑on, individualized learning environment designed to give students the experience of a public school education at their own pace. Class sizes are small — up to 8 students per class — and the program is led by a team of Master‑level educators with 25–30+ years of experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead literacy assessment efforts across the high school program, tracking and reporting on student progress.
- Design and implement individualized literacy support strategies aligned with student needs and pacing.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers across subject areas to integrate literacy goals into instruction.
- Maintain assessment records and communicate findings to the education leadership team.
- Support students in an alternative education model focused on hands‑on, self‑paced learning.
