FTE: 1.0 (0.5 Adjustment Counselor / 0.5 District Social Worker)
Position Overview:
The Clinical Support Coordinator serves a unique dual-function role within the district. This position is responsible for providing direct clinical support to students in a building-based setting, while simultaneously serving as a consultative resource for the district to support systemic social-emotional programming and family outreach.
- 0.5 Adjustment Counselor (Direct Service Provider):
Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral barriers to learning. Conduct crisis intervention and safety assessments as needed. Implement attendance interventions and monitor student engagement. Facilitate transition planning and participate in building-level student support teams. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress monitoring for direct-service students. - 0.5 District Social Worker:
Provide support to school staff regarding student social-emotional needs. Collaborate with outside agencies, treatment providers, and families to coordinate care and ensure continuity of support services. Serve as a liaison for family outreach strategies, providing resources and connecting families to community-based support systems. Support the district in navigating complex social-emotional cases through system-level collaboration and policy guidance.
Starting salary: $62,727 commensurate with experience and education.
Job Requirements- Valid MA licensure (e.g., School Adjustment Counselor/Social Worker).
- Demonstrated experience in clinical counseling and system-level coordination.
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to bridge direct service with consultative support.
- At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
