Connected Circles is an approved small independent therapeutic school in Vermont where student success happens through one‑on‑one connection in the context of community. We are looking to hire a Social Studies teacher for incredibly rewarding work with some of our most vulnerable youth.

• Provide academic instruction in social studies.
• Support socio‑emotional growth of students.
• Model appropriate social behaviors and communication norms.
• Set and keep healthy boundaries.
• Engage in life‑long learning and demonstrate a growth mindset for self and others.

• Beginning fall 2026, all teachers must have a Vermont teaching license. If you hold a bachelor’s degree in a specific content field (e.g., History) and are committed to becoming licensed, the school will support that process.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Pay range: $23–$28 per hour, commensurate with training, experience, and licensure.
