Weekend and Evening Position
Barre Gardens Nursing and Rehab is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our skilled nursing facility in Barre, Vermont. This leadership role is responsible for supervising nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, resident‑centered care under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
The RN Supervisor plays a key role in coordinating clinical operations, supporting nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory and facility standards while promoting a positive and professional care environment.
Responsibilities- Supervise, support, and mentor nursing staff to ensure exceptional resident care
- Monitor compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Provide clinical guidance and leadership during routine operations and emergency situations
- Assist in coordinating resident care and clinical documentation
- Ensure proper communication between shifts and departments
- Promote a positive, professional, and team‑oriented work environment
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Vermont
- Prior supervisory experience in a long‑term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced healthcare environment
