This position involves direct patient care, support of nursing staff, and maintenance of a clean and safe environment for all residents.

• Current unencumbered State of Vermont CNA License
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents, nurses, and staff
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
• Critical thinking skills
• Ability to handle different situations with tact and professionalism

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as feeding, ambulating, turning, and positioning patients
• Provide physical care, including baths, hair care, oral care, back care, and elimination care
• Handle admission, discharge, and transfer of patients
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, intake, and output information
• Perform routine perineal area and incontinence care
• Observe and report any changes in patients’ general condition
• Maintain a neat and safe patient environment
• Complete documentation daily and accurately on required forms
• Maintain flexibility in accepting different assignments
