Pay Range - $25.00 - $40.00/hour based on experience
Your Role- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot oil and propane‑fired boilers, furnaces, water heaters, and oil tanks
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems that occur by reviewing diagnostics and using the proper tools to complete repairs
- Provide final inspections of systems once repairs are completed to ensure all equipment is operating safely
- Complete appropriate daily paperwork for each service call
- Maintain daily and yearly inventory
- Ensure the service truck is in good working order and reliable
- Perform other duties as required to maintain and enhance departmental productivity
- Rotational on‑call evenings and weekends
- Ability to work well with others; good organization and communication skills, attention to detail and strong customer service
- Frequent driving, climbing in and out of vehicle, working in confined spaces, heavy lifting and ability to work at heights ranging up to 50 ft
- Ability to install various types of heating equipment
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strict deadlines
- Strong decision‑making skills
- A valid Propane or natural gas license. Nora Certification is an asset
- Knowledge of wiring and plumbing is required
- Heating technician experience considered an asset
