Support the OPP Association as an Administrative Assistant for Labour Relations. This in-person role focuses on managing member issues and providing exceptional service to OPPA members.
The OPP Association is looking for an Executive Officer Assistant for a 1-year contract. This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Labour Relations. The successful candidate should possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the OPPA team to enhance member service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing ongoing member issues comprehensively
• Update and manage records in software systems efficiently
• Create reports and presentation materials as needed
• Organize committee meetings including agendas and minutes
• Support the intake and management of member grievances
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in a related field preferred
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of labour practices and collective agreements
• Strong attention to detail in document handling
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
Reflect strong problem-solving and time management skills while serving OPPA members effectively.
