** Position Overview
** The Business Development Specialist (BDS) is a merchant‐centric, growth‐focused sales role within TD Merchant Solutions, designed for professionals who thrive in a fast‐paced, opportunity‐rich environment.
TD Merchant Solutions is on an ambitious growth journey, focused on doubling the number of fully franchised Merchant & Business Banking clients part of this pursuit, we are executing a refreshed business strategy that places a strong emphasis on new client acquisition, technology‐led solutions, and strategic partnerships—most notably, this role, the Business Development Specialist plays a critical part in bringing TD’s Clover‐powered solutions to market.
Acting as a trusted payments and business solutions advisor, you will help small and medium‐sized businesses modernize how they accept payments, manage operations, and grow their businesses.
This role offers a unique opportunity to sell beyond traditional payments—engaging merchants in conversations about innovation, efficiency, and long‐term growth.
