Join our Stayner, Ontario team as a Procurement Specialist, focusing on SAP expertise and procurement best practices. Drive cost‑saving initiatives and manage supplier relationships effectively. You will report to the Director of Procurement and need 5‑7 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management.
This role includes handling the PR to PO process, ensuring compliance, and developing in‑depth knowledge of SAP. Your ability to analyze complex information and coordinate across teams will enhance operational effectiveness and procurement metrics.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee PR to PO process with timely approvals
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Sales to ensure adequate supply
- Lead onboarding and evaluation of new suppliers
- Implement cost optimization projects for financial savings
- Develop SAP training materials for team and stakeholders
- 5‑7 years of procurement experience
- College degree in a relevant field such as Business or Finance
- Expertise in SAP purchasing and high proficiency in Excel
- Robust organizational and problem‑solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
