Position: Garaga Cost Accounting Specialist Role
Join Garaga as a Cost Accounting Specialist and be a strategic partner in manufacturing operations. Analyze costs, control inventories, and strengthen the finance function at the Barrie plant.

This on-site role involves collaborating with production and operations teams to improve accuracy in financial reporting and operational profitability. You will play a crucial role in monthly financial closes and reporting, ensuring insights from analyses enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze production and labor variances for accuracy

• Monitor inventory adjustments and controls

• Produce financial reports for management review

• Support external audits and compliance requests

• Participate in margin and profitability analyses

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field

• 3 to 7 years accounting experience in manufacturing preferred

• CPA designation is an asset

• Proficient with manufacturing ERP and advanced Excel

• Fluent in French and English for stakeholder interactions
