FBC Tax Advisor & Preparer

Position: FBC Tax Advisor & Preparer Role
Become a Tax Advisor & Preparer with FBC, based in Barrie, ON. This role requires hybrid work, including travel to meet clients at their businesses.

As part of your role, you will support FBC Members primarily in Newmarket and surrounding areas by offering expert tax strategies tailored to their financial situations. This comprehensive position includes tax preparation along with connecting clients to other valuable financial services such as legal assistance and estate planning. Your focus will be on relationship-building and delivering tailored advice to enhance client trust.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate tax and accounting guidance to clients

• Develop strong, lasting relationships with FBC Members

• Identify client needs and link them with specialists

• Maintain comprehensive records of all client services

• Prepare and file T1 and T2 tax returns efficiently

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a tax preparation firm

• Proficiency in Taxprep and Xero accounting software

• Experience with corporate tax preparation

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
