Position: Assistant Restaurant Manager, Banquets and Events- Blue Mountain, ON

Banquet Operations
Oversee the setup, execution, staffing and breakdown of all banquet and event functions.Ensure event details are accurately communicated to service teams and executed according to client expectations.Lead and support banquet staff during service, including assigning sections, monitoring pacing, and ensuring high service standards.Coordinate with Culinary and Sales/Event Planning teams to ensure seamless event execution.Manage inventory of banquet supplies and ensure rooms are properly staged.Respond promptly to client requests and event-day adjustments.Restaurant/FOH Operations
Support daily floor management of the restaurant along side other managers, including opening/closing duties, table/section planning, and service flow.Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through proactive service and hospitality leadership.Assist in managing reservations, large parties, and table turns to maximize guest experience and revenue.Monitor cleanliness, ambiance, and adherence to brand standards across all FOH areas.Other duties when neededLeadership & Staff Management
Assist training, coaching, and developing banquet and restaurant service staff.Participate in scheduling, shift coverage, and managing staffing levels based on business needs.Conduct pre-shift meetings, deliver service briefings, and ensure team readiness.Provide real-time feedback and performance support to maintain strong team standards.Administrative & Financial
Assist with labor management, cost controls, and inventory tracking.Ensure accurate billing, reconciliation, and event documentation.Review guest feedback and collaborate with leadership to implement improvements.Support health & safety compliance, including workplace inspections and policy adherence.Guest Relations
Serve as a point of contact for guests during events and restaurant service periods.Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to maintain repeat business.Qualifications
2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a restaurant environmentYou have superior verbal and written communication skillsYou demonstrate extreme organization in a fast paced environmentStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage a large and variable work load, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned workYou have a vehicle/ reliable transportationOpen Availability ( weekends, evenings and holidays required)Legally eligible to work in Canada
