Lead front office hospitality at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Barrie, Ontario, as a Front Desk Manager. Oversee operations and cultivate exceptional guest experiences through team leadership.
In this full-time, permanent position, you will direct daily front desk functions and enhance guest relations while ensuring adherence to Marriott standards. Collaborating closely with Housekeeping and Maintenance, you will maintain high property standards and optimize guest satisfaction.
Your role is key in fostering a service-oriented environment where each guest feels valued.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily front desk operations for operational efficiency
• Maintain compliance with Marriott’s policies and practices
• Oversee room inventory and reservation accuracy
• Address guest feedback and service improvements
• Conduct training to develop front desk staff's skills
Requirements:
• Minimum 3–5 years of front desk experience is needed
• Familiarity with Marriott brand is a plus
• Knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS) required
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
