The Position

To maintain cleanliness in all public areas, maintain adequate supplies and stock for linen closets, support Room Attendants, and provide service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to all guest room calls via Hot SOS Service Order (e.g., extra towels, amenities) in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collect dirty linen from Room Attendant carts, garbage and dirty glasses as per scheduled pick up times.
  • Organize and re‑stock all assigned linen closets with items needed for the guest rooms such as amenities and extra linen.
  • Clean and maintain all guest room areas such as hotel corridors, ice machine, guest and service elevator landings.
  • Clean and keep all public and non‑public areas in an orderly and attractive manner.
  • Work with a scheduled system of assigned duties.
  • Ensure that all products and equipment are carefully accounted for and properly stored in a safe and secure manner; notify supervisor of low supplies.
  • Complete accurate inspection reports on equipment and report malfunctions.
  • Remain current and familiar with all cleaning chemicals and their uses.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, positive demeanor and service etiquette at all times.
  • Refill cleaning chemical bottles.
  • OVERNIGHT – deep clean all public area, pool, spa and mini‑spa, banquet space, offices, restaurants as assigned.
  • Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Adhere to departmental quality standards.
  • Perform other related and compatible duties as assigned.
What You Bring
  • Cleaning experience is an asset.
  • Individual must have or be eligible for AGCO Category 2 Licensing.
  • WHMIS.
  • Must be able to work independently or as a team.
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Good time management and the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
  • Must be able to frequently lift and move housekeeping supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs using a push/pull manner.
