POSITION SUMMARY:
Experience ambassadors bring culture and fun to the resort through daily activities, impromptu programming, creativity, and exceptional customer service. The Experiences Ambassador is responsible for facilitating and executing programs and activities throughout the Resort and is the first point of contact for any amenities offered on the Resort property.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Welcomes guests to the pool area and ensures a smooth check‑in process by providing towels, booking guests into amenities, and answering any questions they may have.
Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities, lessons and equipment.
Responsible for setting up, tearing down and hosting the daily recreational activities or programs available on site under the guidance of the Experiences Coordinator. Includes but is not limited to arts and crafts, social programming, physical activities, games, movie nights, etc.
Providing exceptional customer service, communicate to customers the available programs, activities and events as well as other Resort offerings.
Pool upkeep including water quality testing, vacuuming, and skimming. (No prior experience necessary, full training will be provided).
Starting and maintaining fires for our Sauna and Firepits.
Making bookings for guests for the sauna, firepits, or activities.
Respond to guest inquiries with respect to programs, activities and services offered.
Provide exceptional customer service in every interaction.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all recreation areas by wiping down equipment, picking up garbage and ensuring supplies are stocked.
Explain and enforce the rules and guidelines of the recreation facilities and activities.
Be an ambassador to promoting and encouraging use of the activities offered.
Support the retail store as needed with selling, stocking and keeping the merchandise clean.
Assist in other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
SKILLS, ABILITIES, ATTRIBUTES
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Detail‑oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
Required to move, lift, carry, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds
Significant exposure to varying weather conditions
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Previous roles in customer service or hospitality.
Previous experience working with children is an asset.
Previous experience in a recreation role is preferred
