Position Summary: The Overnight Snow making Technician is responsible for efficient operation of snow making machinery and equipment to ensure adequate and sufficient amounts of snow are made for our guests to enjoy.
The hours for this position will be 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Complete all snow making operations and other tasks as assigned.
- Operate, inspect, and maintain snow making equipment.
- Perform basic mechanical maintenance and welding as required.
- Install and maintain protective padding around snow making hydrants, lift towers, etc.
- Operate snowmobiles with care and caution at all times.
- Communicate and work alongside other snow makers and snow plant operators.
Qualifications:
- 18 years or older.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Previous experience in snow making is considered an asset.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work flexible shifts to meet the demands of the coming ski season.
- Ability to complete repetitive tasks that include bending and twisting.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift 25 to 50 lbs.
