THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a business leadership role focused on building one of the most important systems inside the organization:
Talent. As Director of Talent, you will serve as the operational leader of talent acquisition, workforce planning, recruiting infrastructure, and talent analytics at Elevation Capital. You will work directly with senior leadership to ensure we consistently place exceptional people into critical roles across our companies. You will build the systems, processes, reporting, and accountability structures required to scale talent acquisition as a strategic advantage.

You will be expected to think like an operator, act like an owner, and execute with urgency. Success in this role is measured by hiring quality, recruiting velocity, organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and the long‑term performance of the people we hire.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN Talent Acquisition Leadership
  • Lead recruiting efforts across the portfolio, from individual contributors to executive leadership positions.
  • Drive the successful hiring of CEOs, COOs, General Managers, Directors, and other mission‑critical leaders.
  • Build and maintain a high‑caliber network of executive and functional talent.
  • Establish consistent hiring standards, assessment frameworks, and interview methodologies across all portfolio companies.
  • Ensure every hire is aligned with company goals, cultural expectations, and performance requirements.
Talent Operations & Infrastructure
  • Design and operate the talent acquisition operating system across the portfolio.
  • Build scalable recruiting workflows, scorecards, dashboards, reporting systems, and hiring processes.
  • Implement and optimize ATS platforms, AI‑powered recruiting tools, sourcing technologies, and workflow automation.
  • Establish recruiting KPIs and service‑level expectations across the organization.
  • Create systems that increase hiring quality while reducing time‑to‑fill and recruiting costs.
Workforce Planning & Organizational Design
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop annual and quarterly hiring plans.
  • Evaluate organizational structures and identify capability gaps across teams.
  • Help leaders determine when to hire, who to hire, and how teams should be structured for maximum effectiveness.
  • Align talent investments with financial goals, operating plans, and company priorities.
  • Develop succession plans and leadership pipelines for critical roles.
Talent Analytics & Executive Reporting
  • Own portfolio‑wide talent reporting and recruiting performance metrics.
  • Build executive dashboards that provide visibility into hiring velocity, quality of hire, recruiter productivity, retention, and talent ROI.
  • Present recommendations and insights directly to executive leadership.
  • Use data to identify bottlenecks, hiring risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Build, lead, coach, and develop a high‑performance recruiting team.
  • Manage internal recruiters, external agencies, contractors, and talent partners.
  • Establish accountability, performance standards, and operating rhythms across the recruiting organization.
  • Identify underperformance quickly and implement solutions.
  • Create a culture of excellence, urgency, ownership, and continuous improvement.
