Legal Assistant
A well-established Ontario-based personal injury law firm is seeking a full-time PI Legal Assistant
.
This position is based in Barrie and supports a fast-paced litigation environment focused on delivering high-quality client service.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will prepare and format legal documents, manage litigation deadlines, coordinate examinations for discovery and client meetings, organize court materials, upload documents to Case Centre, maintain calendars, process expenses, manage file updates, and assist with trial preparation and witness coordination.
The role also includes client communication, transcription, and administrative support.
Qualifications & SkillsApplicants should have a minimum of 3+ years of legal assistant experience, strong knowledge of tort law and court procedures, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work under pressure are essential.
