Project Manager For Defense Projects

Be at the forefront of federal infrastructure as a Project Manager at Varcon Inc., overseeing a significant $100M+ defense assignment for the Department of National Defence. Work is based in Ontario and involves extensive stakeholder collaboration.

In this key role lasting from mid-2026 through 2029, you will manage the full lifecycle of complex projects while ensuring financial and operational success. The role demands robust leadership in project planning, execution, and compliance with ISO standards and safety regulations. Your ability to navigate partnerships will drive the project towards successful outcomes.

• Oversee entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion
• Develop and implement Project Management Plans effectively
• Control financial performance through various reporting metrics
• Facilitate communication with DND and partner organizations
• Manage subcontractor performance, contracts, and compliance

• Active PMP certification is required
• 7+ years handling large projects, particularly in defense
• Experience with $25M+, preferable with $100M projects
• Knowledge of DND contracts and compliance processes
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related fields
