Position: Job-Readiness Coordinator for Operation Grow

Lead the Entrepreneurship & Job-Readiness initiatives at Operation Grow. Drive self-employment programming and coordinate community engagement efforts in this impactful role.

As the Entrepreneurship & Job-Readiness Coordinator, you will facilitate self-employment programming and coordinate rental spaces for Operation Grow. Collaborating with community stakeholders, you will deliver programs through an intersectional feminist framework, ensuring inclusivity and support for participants. This position requires you to engage local entrepreneurs, oversee program activities, and support participants in their business journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate self-employment program sessions effectively

• Engage mentors for participant support

• Promote program outreach to potential participants

• Develop workshops on job readiness skills

• Plan Maker’s Markets for community engagement

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of intersectional feminism and harm reduction

• Excellent community engagement abilities

• Experience managing budgets and tracking expenses
