Program Facilitator

Position: Full-Time Program Facilitator
Become a Full-Time Program Facilitator at Gilda's Club Simcoe Muskoka, dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals affected by cancer. This role in Barrie, Ontario, emphasizes emotional support and community integration.
Reporting directly to the Program Director, you will integrate educational, social, and therapeutic programs tailored to families and children. With a Master's degree and a strong foundation in mental health, you will engage participants, facilitate workshops, and support resource connection. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead support groups and wellness workshops

• Assist members in navigating community resources

• Coordinate logistical aspects of programming

• Foster relationships with families and caregivers

• Collect and evaluate program feedback and outcomes
Requirements:

• Master's degree in a relevant mental health discipline

• At least three years of experience in support roles

• Proficient in facilitation and community engagement

• Strong organizational and communication abilities

• Knowledge of local and national cancer support resources
