Program Manager for Black Services

Reporting to the Director of Services, you will provide strategic leadership to enhance service provisions for Black/African descent families. Your experience, particularly in child welfare and mental health, is crucial in applying anti-racist, trauma-informed, and culturally safe practices. Collaborate with communities to shape impactful programs and support the agency’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide service delivery to Black/African descent children and families
• Conduct community outreach and engagement initiatives
• Implement trauma-informed, culturally responsive frameworks
• Consult on service-related matters for families in the child welfare system
• Advocate for equity-focused clinical practices and community partnerships
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in child welfare
• Strong understanding of anti-Black racism and related challenges
• Leadership experience in service development for Black communities
• Valid driver’s license for client transportation
This role demands leadership, cultural understanding, and a commitment to equity for Black families and communities in Ontario.
