As a Volunteer Team Lead, you will work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator to provide guidance to fellow volunteers. This role involves participating in a rotational on-call schedule, assessing service requests, and promoting trauma-informed care. Your experience and mentorship will strengthen the crisis response program, ensuring compassionate support is delivered promptly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate after-hours crisis response calls
• Deploy volunteers based on needs assessment
• Offer mentorship to crisis response volunteers
• Facilitate volunteer meetings and training debriefings
• Act as a liaison with community partners
Requirements:
• One 12 or 24-hour shift commitment monthly
• On-call availability for one weekend each month
• Must complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Proficient in basic digital communication tools
