Barrie SuperWalk Volunteer Roles 2026

Be part of the Barrie Super Walk with Parkinson Canada, where volunteers play a vital role in supporting individuals impacted by Parkinson’s. This annual walk is essential for fundraising and community advocacy.

Taking place on September 13, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, volunteers will assist in various roles like greeting, food services, and ensuring the event runs smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause and engage with others, whether as an individual or a group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help set up and take down event facilities

• Register participants and greet attendees

• Provide food services to participants and volunteers

• Maintain checkpoint stations for walkers

• Cheer and encourage Super Walkers throughout the event

Requirements:

• Must be at least 12 years old to volunteer

• Team volunteering is highly encouraged

• Time commitment from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM on event day

• A positive and supportive attitude is essential

• Commitment to promoting awareness about Parkinson’s
