Healthcare Food Service Dietary Aide

Apply food safety and healthcare food service skills as a regular part-time Dietary Aide supporting patients, families, and staff.

This Dietary Aide vacancy requires secondary school education and food safety certification. You will prepare food, handle cash, and work across kitchen, dish room, cafeteria, and catering areas. The position supports patient and family centred care through communication and service excellence.

• Prepare food for patients, cafeteria, and catering services
• Handle cash, give change, and operate the cash register
• Work throughout kitchen, dish room, and cafeteria areas
• Follow oral and written instructions across assigned duties
• Work days, afternoons, evenings, and weekends as available

• Secondary School Education Diploma
• Basic Food Safety or Food Safety and Sanitation Certificate
• One year Food Services experience in a Health Care setting
• Computer skills including Outlook, CBORD, and Order entry
• Understanding of WHMIS, Infection Control, and therapeutic diets preferred
