Sales Representative / Business Development Associate (Contract)

Our client, a leading wholesale distributor in the food service and retail sector, is seeking a Sales Representative / Business Development Associate for a 4–5 month full-time contract
.

This role is ideal for a motivated and personable individual who enjoys building relationships, driving sales, and working in a field-based environment.

• Location: Barrie and surrounding areas
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Compensation: $20–$25/hour (based on experience)

• Visit restaurants and retail locations across Barrie and Simcoe County
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Collect order details and support customer needs
• Upsell products and services to meet sales targets
• Distribute promotional materials and support marketing initiatives
• Identify and develop new customer accounts
• Maintain accurate records of customer visits, orders, and feedback

• Based locally in Barrie with the ability to travel within Simcoe County
• Valid G driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
• Previous sales or retail experience is an asset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, energetic, and customer-focused
