Account Representative - Packaging

Overview

Atlantic Packaging is seeking an Account Representative (Corrugated Packaging) to support the Barrie region and surrounding markets. You will be responsible for growing an established territory while driving new business development as well as maintaining relationships with existing customers. You will manage your own schedule, presentations and solutions with support from a team, in a fast-paced but rewarding industry. This is a rare opportunity to join an industry leader in growth mode.

• Maintaining, servicing, and growing existing customers using a value-based consultative selling strategy
• Create sales growth through prospecting and presenting winning proposals for new prospects
• Maximize territory growth by developing meaningful customer relationships that yield account value
• Manage ongoing customer projects by collaborating with customer service, structural design and graphics teams to find solutions and build winning presentations
• Strategic reviews of monthly and annual budgets along with goal setting to achieve growth within the territory (familiarity in corrugated box fabrication is an asset)

• A university degree or college diploma
• Experienced sales professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in packaging
• Proficient at presenting and demonstrating value-based solutions
• Strong project management skills including planning and time management with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word and Power Point
• Ability to work independently, within the sales team, and across organizational boundaries as required
• Must possess a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license

Hiring Range: $73,100 - $91,400 per year. A candidate’s experience and knowledge may be factored into the pay a candidate receives for this position. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
