Baxter is seeking a dedicated Chemist for a 10-month assignment at our Alliston facility. This role requires expertise in analytical chemistry and the ability to perform chemical analyses efficiently. You will contribute to patient care through precise chemical testing and product validation, addressing challenges swiftly while promoting teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform chemical analyses to guarantee product quality

• Analyze samples using various techniques to maintain standards

• Compile and enter results into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)

• Maintain lab cleanliness and orderliness through 6S initiatives

• Conduct preventative maintenance on lab equipment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Analytical Chemistry or Biochemistry

• 3-5 years in analytical testing lab experience

• Over 2 years in a pharmaceutical lab preferred

• Proficiency in laboratory computerized systems

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
