The Grounds Guys Barrie is searching for individuals that want to grow with our team and aren’t afraid to jump into the thick of it to get the job done. We are looking for Team Leads to run and manage a crew for day‑to‑day activities.

• Manage a team of up to four people while performing services; motivate, coach, and mentor the team
• Operate a variety of equipment including mini‑excavator, loader, skid steer, Dingo, truck, and trailer
• Perform landscape construction activities such as installation of interlock, retaining walls, walkways, decks, gazebos, fences, etc.
• Address clients' questions, comments, and concerns
• Complete paperwork and prepare daily reports as well as job information in our company app
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism both with fellow employees and clients

• Minimum five years of experience in landscape construction (hardscape, decks, gazebos, etc.)
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Own transportation to shop
• Valid G (or higher) license and clean driving abstract is mandatory
• Ability to work days, weekends, early morning, and early evening shifts
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform all other physical requirements associated with the position
• Ability to perform physical labour for long hours in hot, cold, and wet weather; hands‑on installation and equipment operation required

Season runs from April to early December. Wage ranges from $28 to $35 per hour based on experience, with a possibility of salary and an opportunity for year‑round work for qualified candidates.
