MVT is seeking a dedicated 1st Year 310T Mechanic to maintain and repair transit buses and service vehicles. You will gain essential skills in diagnosing vehicle malfunctions and conducting preventative maintenance.

Your role is critical in ensuring safety and compliance with contractual and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance as per PM Schedule

• Diagnose engine, transmission, and electrical issues

• Perform inspections and repairs of bus components

• Assist in training and mentoring apprentice mechanics

• Ensure all safety inspections are accurately completed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid 310T Technician Certificate

• 3 years of relevant experience

• G Ontario Driver’s License with Z endorsement

• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance practices
