Fire Protection Sprinkler Technician

Join BGIS as a Fire Protection Sprinkler Technician responsible for inspections, maintenance, and repairs of fire systems across multiple client facilities. Ensure compliance with NFPA codes and provincial standards.

This full-time role requires a valid Sprinkler Fitter journeyperson certification and 3-5 years of experience with fire sprinkler, standpipe, and fire pump systems. You will conduct system assessments, troubleshoot deficiencies, and prepare compliance documents, while collaborating with property management for safety assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems

• Perform system flow and pressure tests

• Diagnose and repair deficiencies in fire systems

• Ensure compliance with fire and building codes

• Act as liaison for client communication

Requirements:

• Valid Sprinkler Fitter journeyperson certification

• 3-5 years of relevant experience

• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards

• Ability to interpret technical drawings

• Valid driver’s license
