Skilled Millwright at Gemtron

Location: Midland

Elevate your skills with Gemtron Canada Corporation as a full-time Maintenance Millwright in Midland, ON. This position focuses on advanced machinery maintenance and operational support.

Gemtron is looking for a dedicated Millwright to manage machinery installation and repairs. This role involves providing essential coaching to apprentices, troubleshooting complex issues, and performing comprehensive preventive maintenance.

Experience with pneumatic systems and automated equipment is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach apprentices in operational procedures and safety

• Diagnose and fix machinery malfunctions effectively

• Construct machinery foundations and install equipment

• Fabricate parts and components for maintenance needs

• Perform regular maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years relevant Millwright experience

• Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification required

• Positive consideration for Red Seal Endorsement holders

• Ability to manage physical demands of lifting

• Must have valid work authorization in Canada
