Position: Millwright Position for Night Shift
Gibraltar is hiring a Millwright for night shifts in Barrie, ON, to manage machinery repairs and maintenance. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanical systems.

As an Industrial Mechanic, you will bring your licensed expertise and over five years of experience to troubleshoot and maintain various machinery. Key responsibilities include preventive maintenance, record-keeping, and collaborating with contractors for repairs. A strong ability to interpret blueprints and work independently is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in equipment

• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on-site

• Maintain records of machinery inspections and repairs

• Supervise outside contractors performing repairs

• Adhere to safety standards and protocol

Requirements:

• Industrial Mechanic Journeyman certification

• 5+ years experience in industrial maintenance

• Physically fit for lifting and standing tasks

• Independent worker with strong problem-solving skills

• Must be authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship
