Position: GMAW Welder/Fitter at MacLean Engineering

Mac Lean Engineering seeks a skilled Welder/Fitter with at least 5 years of relevant experience. You will interpret detailed drawings and be responsible for accurate component fit-up and welding. We're looking for disciplined, detail-oriented individuals who are committed to maintaining high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Competently interpret detailed drawings for layout

• Fit and weld components according to engineering specifications

• Operate Miller GMAW machines with precision

• Conduct maintenance checks and report issues

• Document and implement improvement opportunities

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience with GMAW welding

• Strong background in production environments

• CWB Certification under CSA 47.1 is a plus

• Crane operator certification is preferred

• Completion of blueprint reading is advantageous
