We are looking for a 310J Mechanic Technician for our shop located in Bradford, ON. In this role you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of commercial trucks and trailers.

• Monday to Friday 7:30am – 3:30pm
• Full time, 40 hours per week

• Demonstrate proficiency in the repair and diagnosis of all trailers
• Preventative maintenance on Smartway owned trailers
• Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units
• Preventative maintenance on checking tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, electrical diagnostic, electrical repairs, annual inspections, suspension and frame repairs
• Ability to weld
• Follow safety and use proper PPE
• To keep a positive work ethic and attitude
• Must be willing to work at heights
• Maintain work area appearance and safety
• Maintain your applicable licenses and certifications in good standing
• Conduct your work in a manner that meets or exceeds standard repair times
• Other duties as necessitated by business requirements
