Journeyperson Plumber

Join BGIS as a Journeyperson Plumber in Barrie, Ontario. In this role, you will utilize your plumbing expertise for facility systems maintenance and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.

As a Journeyperson Plumber, you'll bring over 5 years of experience along with a valid Plumbing license. Your key responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, determining piping requirements, and conducting preventative and corrective maintenance. You will directly contribute to the safety and functionality of plumbing systems across assigned facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine piping requirements and handle pipe sizing

• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes as needed

• Interpret blueprints for plumbing system layout

• Install and repair valves and fixtures promptly

• Test plumbing systems for leaks and malfunctions

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a licensed Journeyman Plumber

• Valid Plumbing license from your province

• Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills

• Knowledge of safety codes and standards

• Ability to work shifts and be on-call as needed
