Experienced Fleet Mechanic in Thornbury

Location: The Blue Mountains

Take charge of fleet maintenance with Landmark Group as an Experienced Fleet Mechanic. Enjoy steady hours in a heated shop with minimal fieldwork while ensuring vehicle reliability.

This full-time role in Thornbury offers 40 hours per week focused on maintaining a well-documented fleet. You'll utilize your diagnostic skills and hands-on experience to service and repair various vehicles and equipment, including Freightliner trucks and zero-turn mowers. Engage in preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing, while contributing to a well-organized shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections

• Maintain accurate service and repair records

• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and engine issues

• Support general shop and yard tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician license

• 3+ years of mechanic experience with heavy equipment

• Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple systems

• Ability to work independently and manage workload

• Experience with preventative maintenance programs
