This role includes working in dirty environments characterized by dust and heat. Key tasks involve interpreting welding blueprints, ensuring weld quality, and operating advanced welding machinery. A strong understanding of diverse materials like nickel and non-ferrous metals is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate fully automated welding and cutting equipment
• Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal components
• Read and examine welding specifications and manuals
• Determine weldability of materials effectively
• Manage operation of hoisting equipment
Requirements:
• High school graduation or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of practical welding experience
• Familiarity with various welding techniques like SMAW and GTAW
• Physical ability to handle heavy loads
• Required personal tools for welding tasks
