Pay: $26-$28/hour ($50,000-$60,000)
Insight Global is seeking a Field Services Technician for a growing organization specializing in communications and equipment installations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys hands-on work, and thrives in an independent field environment.
What You'll Be Doing   Install, modify, and maintain equipment in vehicles, facilities, and infrastructure
Pull and run cabling for communications equipment and related systems
Perform drilling, mounting, and hardware installations
Troubleshoot issues in the field and develop practical solutions independently
Work with 12V and 48V systems
Travel between customer sites using a company-provided vehicle
Participate in an on-call rotation after the training period for overtime pay opportunities
What We're Looking For   Mechanically inclined with experience using hand tools
Experience working around vehicles, equipment, or industrial facilities
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Independent, resourceful, and self-motivated personality
Ability to work comfortably in a field-based environment

Experience with 12V/48V electrical systems is an asset

Experience with 2-way radios is a plus but not required

Physical Requirements   Comfortable working at heights up to 300 feet
Willing to climb towers and cranes when required
Able to lift, pull, and run cable
Comfortable performing hands-on installation work outdoors and in industrial environments
Working at Heights certification is not required; training will be provided if needed
Compensation & Benefits   $50,000 - $60,000
Overtime available
On-call rotation after 3-6 months of training
1.5x pay rate for on-call callouts
