Automotive recycling work awaits at Kenny U-Pull in Sudbury, Ontario, using hand tools, power tools, and physical stamina daily. Work outdoors during the day shift, Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
As a Labourer, you will support vehicle dismantling and recycling operations at Kenny U-Pull, a division of American Iron & Metal. The work includes depolluting vehicles, preparing them for resale or display, and organizing salvaged parts. You will also handle wheels, tires, rims, and batteries while maintaining an orderly yard.
Key Responsibilities:- Dismantle and depollute vehicles using hand and power tools
- Prepare vehicles for resale or yard display
- Dismount wheels, rims, and tires
- Clean, test, and sort batteries for resale
- Organize salvaged parts and maintain the work environment
- Previous general labour or similar experience
- Physical stamina and ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliability and willingness to learn different business areas
- Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions
