Journey Care Hospice is seeking Hospice CNAs in Barrington, IL. We offer competitive salaries, immediate openings, generous time off packages, 401K + match, and more!

Qualifications:

• Certified by the state as a nurse aide
• Maintains a current CPR Certification
• Listed on the state aide registry with a clear record and able to deliver care to patients
• 18 years of age or older, unless otherwise dictated by state law
• Valid driver’s license with insured vehicle or reliable transportation

Hours: Three 12-hour shifts per week, 7 PM - 7:30 AM, including every other weekend and three holidays per year

Location: Barrington Care Center

Salary: $18-$25 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Work under the supervision of a registered nurse to perform services that meet patients' personal comfort needs in the inpatient unit
• Observe, report, and document patient conditions and care provided
• Perform personal care tasks such as bathing, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linens as assigned
• Ensure patient safety by using equipment properly (foot stools, side rails, oxygen, etc.)
• Report significant changes in patient condition and interpersonal issues with visitors
• Adhere to documentation, care procedures, and professional conduct standards
