Qualifications- Certified by the state as a nurse aide
- Maintains a current CPR Certification
- List on the state aide registry with a clear record able to deliver care to patients
- 18 years of age unless state law dictates otherwise
- Valid driver’s license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements or reliable transportation preferred
HOURS: (3) 12-hour Shifts/Week 7PM-7:30AM Including Every Other Weekend and 3 Holidays/Year

Salary: $18-$25 Hourly - Offer Based on Years of Experience
Night Shift Differentials: Additional $1.25/hour during the week nights and additional $2.50/hour on a weekend night

- The Hospice CNA-IPU (Certified Nurse Assistant – Inpatient Unit) works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient’s personal comfort needs at the unit.
- The CNA is responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observations, and documenting observations and care performed.
- Performing personal care needs after given a patient’s assignment and attending to his/her requests promptly.
- Meeting safety needs of patient and using equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, O2 etc.)
- Giving personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed lined as often as assigned
- Reporting on patient’s condition and significant changes. Also aware of the caregiver or other individuals visiting with the patient and interpersonal issues
- Adhering to the organization’s documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct
