Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse Part-Time PM Shift

This role offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work part‑time on a PM shift at a respected facility.

$38.00/hr – $44.00/hr

• Provide direct nursing care to customers and supervise day‑to‑day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Ensure care complies with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies to maintain the highest quality of care.

• Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in Illinois or Wisconsin.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within two weeks of employment.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
• Interest or experience in caring for the aged.
• Reading, writing, and speaking English clearly.
• Independent decision‑making when necessary.
• Ability to interact tactfully with customers, families, visitors, staff, and government personnel.
• Leadership and supervisory capability and willingness to collaborate with others.
• Personable, enthusiastic, and resourceful attitude.

• Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday.
• Capacity to cope with mental and emotional stress of the position.
• Normal vision and hearing or suitable aids to perform duties.

• Accepts and supports assignments as directed by authority across multiple tasks and customers.
• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates, and directs nursing procedures in line with policies.
• Supervises and instructs staff to maintain professional standards and proper dress code.
• Develops written care plans identifying customer needs.
• Participates in care plan conferences and reports concerns to the Administrator.
• Counsels or disciplines nursing staff as necessary.
• Conducts daily rounds to ensure compliance with duties and procedures.
• Creates a warm, calm environment and participates in continuing education.
• Recommends equipment and supplies, places orders for medications, and follows budgetary guidelines.
• Uses PCC 24‑hour summary for care needs, and completes accident/incident reports.
• Encourages physicians to review and sign orders, and records patient responses accurately.
• Completes admissions, discharges, and transfers and administers medications appropriately.
• Reviews medication records for accuracy and adherence to stop orders.
• Provides clinical services such as catheterization, tube feeding, suction, dressing changes, and care of the deceased.
• Orientates new patients and families to the facility.
• Arranges diagnostic and therapeutic services as ordered.
• Notifies physicians and families of changes in patient conditions.
• Obtains lab tests, records vital signs, and contacts physicians for changes, orders, incidents, or lab results.
• Ensures nursing notes and summaries reflect the care plan.
• Attends staff meetings and performs related duties as assigned.
