Position:
Fleet Maintenance Coordinator
Pay Rate: $50K to 65K.
Location: Barrington, IL
Position OverviewAssist the General Manager in managing company fleet tracking and fleet maintenance. Interact with various company management and client management to ensure vehicle availability and distribution. Responsibility for ensuring timely and appropriate maintenance and repairs for company fleet. Provide superior level of service to our client and ensure company management and staff is providing sufficient and adequate care of company vehicle assets.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Coordinate and track the distribution of company vehicles across client work sites.
- Coordinate and manage the maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles including approvals for each repair.
- Work with service departments and eliminate unnecessary maintenance and repairs expenses.
- Schedule repairs and maintenance with as little interruption to service as possible. Secure replacement vehicles / rentals as needed.
- Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries and telephone calls.
- Responsible to maintain a premier level of customer service and ensure prompt return client and company staff phone calls.
- Input and quality assessment of the data processed including overseeing and direct interaction with the Fleet Services staff.
- Assist in all requirements of vehicle audit compliance.
- Assist the General Manager with other vehicle related issues.
- Ensure all vehicles have trackers and provide vehicle driving score reviews/audits. Communicate issues/concerns to management.
- Vehicle Mechanical Experience.
- Minimum of three years experience working with truck leasing/rental.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Related experience in tax or licensing a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Supervisory aptitude.
- Attention to detail, well developed organizational skill.
- Multitasking ability.
- The ability to follow directions and execute plans.
- Ability to meet all deadlines required to provide excellence in service.
