Responsibilities
- Deburr and hand-polish machined parts per internal and external documentation.
- Clean and mark parts using internal documentation.
- Recognize problems and defects (e.g. dings, gouges, flaws) and promptly notify the Value Stream Manager.
- Keep track of inventory of all related supplies and equipment.
- Complete all quality and ERP documentation.
- Maintain 5S practices in work areas.
- Follow and process FIFO lanes per internal procedures.
- Cooperate and coordinate with machinists and other personnel regarding use of shared shop equipment.
- Assist in semi-annual and annual inventories.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment helpful.
- Familiarity with metal grinding tools preferred.
- Basic understanding of MS Office:
Outlook, Word, and Excel desired. - Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal direct supervision.
- Requires great attention to detail.
- Moderate physical activity requiring agility and manual dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending as well as lifting or moving objects.
- Must be able to lift minimum of 30 pounds in a safe manner and request assistance when warranted.
