Job DescriptionThe Barrington School District is seeking qualified and compassionate Substitute School Nurses to support student health and wellness across our schools on an as‑needed basis. This position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students while working in a collaborative, supportive school environment.
Responsibilities- Provide routine and emergency health care to students and staff.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and district policies.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
- Assess and respond to student health concerns and injuries.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Follow all applicable state and district health protocols and guidelines.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire
- NH Department of Education certification or eligibility in School Nurse
- Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred.
