Job Summary

Registered Nurse RN Inpatient Surgical Unit at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. Up to $12,000 sign‑on bonus.

• Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift; promptly identify and report changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers; ensure thorough and timely documentation of care.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and take appropriate action if an unintended response occurs.
• Respond promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipate patient needs, and resolve them efficiently.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow‑up measures, ensuring complete understanding.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Resident in Portsmouth, NH.
