Job DescriptionCome and join our team! St. Luke’s School seeks a part-time CAMP Aide for the school year. CAMP stands for “Come and Meander, Play” which is the philosophy of our program. This is a part-time position (Monday-Friday from 2:30pm-5:30pm), that follows the school calendar. The after school CAMP assistant is responsible for what is listed below. There are three CAMP aides on staff at all times.
The after school CAMP aide reports to the principal.
- Assists in set‑up and cleanup of the gym.
- Signs students in and out of CAMP.
- Assists in planning monthly and holiday-themed activities.
- Purchases materials for art activities allowed through the budget.
- Provides a balance between structured and unstructured play.
- Supervises indoor and outdoor play.
- Monitors students’ homework and family‑provided snacks at snack time.
- Communicates with parents about CAMP behavior and how it interacts with the children.
After school/Evening
Job Requirements- High School/Trade School degree preferred.
