Job DescriptionLong-Term Substitute Grade 6 Science Teacher

Provides daily instruction aligned with the district curriculum and supports students' academic and social-emotional needs. Responsibilities include delivering engaging science lessons, managing the classroom environment, assessing student learning, maintaining communication with families, and collaborating with grade-level and support staff.
The substitute ensures continuity of learning during the teacher’s extended absence and upholds all school policies and expectations.
REPORTS TO:
Building Administrator/Director of Pupil Personnel
JOB GOAL:
To provide special education to support the academic achievement, social/behavioral skills, and the emotional well-being of Barrington students.
