Middle School Grade 6 Science Long-term Substitute

Position Summary:

Provide temporary classroom instruction and supervision for middle school social studies students in the absence of the regular teacher. Ensure continuity of learning by following lesson plans, managing the classroom, and supporting student engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Implement the lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
• Maintain a positive and safe classroom environment.
• Monitor student behavior and enforce school policies.
• Assist students with questions or assignments as needed.
• Communicate any important information or incidents to the regular teacher or school administration.

Qualifications:

• Prior teaching or substitute experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to different classroom environments.
